Smoky Mountain Building Products, LLC dba Smoky Mountain Concrete Block was formed in 2005 with a vision of providing the entire East Tennessee region with quality concrete masonry products. NOT ALL concrete blocks are created equal. To achieve higher profit margins, all of our direct competitors have resorted to using cinders, or aggregates reclaimed from coal or coke firing processes in their manufacturing process. SMBP,LLC dba Smoky Mountain Concrete Block is committed to producing the highest quality concrete masonry products, we DO NOT use any “reclaimed” products in our manufacturing process. Only true expanded clay, East Tennessee limestone, and high quality cement is used to produce our products. What does this mean to the consumer of our products? The low quality aggregates used by our competitors can lead to rust, bleeding of ores, pop-outs, and unsightly finished products, not so with our high quality concrete block, the best on the market.
